My kid is a junior or senior. Is it too late for this?

Not at all. Every grade gets its own part of the night, and I’ll tell you exactly what’s due for yours right now.

My kid is a freshman. Isn’t this way too early?

Starting early is supposed to mean doing less, not more. You’ll leave knowing the few things worth paying attention to and everything you can safely ignore.

Does my teenager need to come?

Nope. This one’s for you. Pajamas and a glass of wine are welcome.

Do I have to be on camera?

Nope. You can stay off camera and just type in the chat. Your Zoom link comes to your inbox as soon as you register.

How long is it?

About an hour of teaching, then I stay for live Q&A.

I'm doing this at my own kitchen table too

I'm a former high school counselor who spent 15 years in public education.

Then I started working one-on-one with families, and last year my one-on-one seniors were offered over $6.2 million in merit money, almost all of it from the colleges themselves.

Everything I teach, I learned one kitchen table at a time. Now I teach moms to do it with their own kids.

I’ve also got two boys, one of them is in college and one of them is in the middle of this right now.

So when I tell you it goes fast, and that it isn’t overwhelming if you do it in order, I’m not saying it from behind a desk. I’m saying it as the mom doing it this week.

The only difference between us is that I know what’s coming. That’s what I’m handing you.
